When the Golden State Warriors relocated from Oakland to San Francisco, it was time to bring a new band to town…enter the Bay Blue Notes, the official brass band of the Golden State Warriors!
You can catch the Bay Blue Notes on a party parade outside Chase Center before every Warriors home game and during halftime in the main concourse. Every home game win ends with the biggest party in the NBA when the Bay Blue Notes perform outside the main entrance on the Gatehouse steps. Come by and have the locals teach you how to do the “Thizzle Dance.”
The Bay Blue Notes features instruments typically associated with a “Second Line” brass band but with a BDE twist. The feature drummer wears a completely custom-built mobile drum set, cymbals and accessories included! This allows the band to perform a wide variety of music with a more full sound while still remaining completely mobile! Any song can be custom-arranged for this ensemble to perform your event, or you can jam to the band’s unique selection of Bay Area classics by favorites such as E-40, Journey, Too $hort and more
