Bay FC, the newest women's professional soccer team in the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL), has officially made its grand debut in the Bay Area. Following past teams like the San Jose CyberRays and FC Gold Pride, Bay FC adds to the region's strong history of women's soccer.
Bay FC’s inaugural home opener brought forth a sellout crowd of 18,000 fans with BDE’s brass band and drumline joining in the celebration alongside the excited fans. Both BDE ensembles joined forces for a powerful halftime show that included soccer (fútbol) classics such as “Seven Nation Army'' and “Vivir Mi Vida,” which got the whole stadium singing along and energized for the second half.
You can now catch the BDE drumline at all remaining home games of Bay FC’s inaugural season. Officially branded as “Bay FC Beats,'' the drumline greets fans as they enter PayPal Park and in the Fan Fest area, with on-field pregame and select halftime performances scheduled throughout the 2024 season.
Join the hype and excitement this season with the “Bay FC Beats”, the official drumline of Bay FC.
